Meat Pie Dough

Procedure
- Place flour and salt in the food processor and mix about 5 seconds.
- With the food processor running, add the egg through a feed tube and then the warm water. Process until the dough sticks together and forms a ball, about 1 minute.
- Turn out dough onto a floured surface and knead with the heel of your hand for 5 turns. The dough should be finely-textured and soft, without sticking to your hands.
- Pour oil in the pan and set beside work area.
- Cut the dough into 50 pieces and roll with your hands into walnut-sized balls. Place the balls in the oil-filled pan and cover tightly with plastic wrap or foil. Let dough rest for 1 hour.
Tip — You can increase the size of the dough balls if you like, but make them no more than double the size of a walnut.
