Lebanese Style Olives

Serve it for breakfast and dinner with fresh pita bread, Yogurt Cheese, tomatoes, scallions and watercress, or as a part of the Mezze. Most Lebanese like to finish the last bite of the meal with olives.

Procedure

  1. Rinse and drain olives and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine lemon, pepper and salt, add olives and fold to combine.
  3. Place in a container; add olive oil, mix and serve.

Tip — These olives stay fresh for a couple of months if they are covered with olive oil or salt water.
