Lebanese Bread Chips
Khobz m’Hammas

Serve with Lebneh, cheese or Tabbouleh, or for a snack.
Procedure
- Heat oven to 500 degrees F.
- Combine oil with thyme and set aside.
- With your hands or a pair of scissors, open pita bread; you will have 10 circles or pieces (see DVD).
- Brush circles with thyme mixture on both sides, then cut them into small triangles with scissors and place them in the pans.
- Toast in the oven until they are golden brown on both sides (you may need to turn them). Be careful, they can burn quickly.
Serve with Lebneh, cheese or Tabbouleh, or for a snack.
Tip — If you like the chips plain, just brush them with plain olive oil before baking. They store well for up to a month in a covered container.
