Serve it for lunch, dinner or a snack.

This is the best Lemonade you’ll ever have, especially if the lemons are picked from your grandpa’s orchard. This is my son Mohannad’s favorite Lemonade -- I bet it will be your favorite, too!

Procedure

  1. Ask an adult to cut the lemons into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Wash your hands with soap, then place lemon cubes in the bowl. Add sugar and then start mixing and squeezing the lemon cubes with your hands.
  3. Pour 4 cups water over the cubes, and keep squeezing and mixing until all the sugar dissolves and all the cubes are squished.
  4. Scoop a handful of lemon cubes from the bowl, squeeze them well over the bowl and discard. Repeat until no lemon cubes are left in the bowl.
  5. Strain the lemonade through the sifter and pour it into the 4 glasses, add ice cubes and serve.

Serve it for lunch, dinner or a snack.

Tip — Grandpa’s Lemonade makes delicious popsicles. For a colorful glass of lemonade, add pieces of frozen fruit.
