Gourmet Hazelnut Chocolate

Chocola ala Bin’do’a

Serve with dessert.

Procedure

  1. Fill the bottom pot of the double boiler half way with water. Place the chocolate in the top pot, put the double boiler over high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and stir frequently until the chocolate melts.
  3. Meanwhile, coarsely grind the roasted hazelnuts in the food processor and add them to the melted chocolate. Stir to combine, turn off heat and put aside on a counter top.
  4. Place the cookie sheets on the counter beside the pot.
  5. Take 1 tablespoon of the chocolate mixture in one hand; hold a knife in the other hand and gently slide the chocolate onto the wax paper, leaving a space between each piece. Continue until all of the mixture is used.
  6. Place the pans in the freezer for 7 minutes, remove promptly and set aside in a cool place.
  7. Transfer chocolates to a platter or wrap each one individually.

Serve with dessert.

Tip — Hazelnut chocolates are a delectable treat to prepare around the holidays.
