Cucumber Pickles

Serve it with Falafel, Shawerma, Lebanese couscous (Mughrabia), hummus, and fava beans.
Procedure
- Prepare pickling solution and set aside.
- Wash and drain cucumbers. With a toothpick, prick each cucumber in several places and put aside.
- Stand cucumbers upright very tightly together in the jar and place garlic and hot pepper in the middle.
- Pour pickling solution over the cucumbers to cover them and close jar tightly. Store jar in a cool, dark place for 10 days before eating pickles.
Serve it with Falafel, Shawerma, Lebanese couscous (Mughrabia), hummus, and fava beans.
Tip — Stays fresh 5 months if refrigerated after opening.
