Cucumber Pickles

Serve it with Falafel, Shawerma, Lebanese couscous (Mughrabia), hummus, and fava beans.

Procedure

  1. Prepare pickling solution and set aside.
  2. Wash and drain cucumbers. With a toothpick, prick each cucumber in several places and put aside.
  3. Stand cucumbers upright very tightly together in the jar and place garlic and hot pepper in the middle.
  4. Pour pickling solution over the cucumbers to cover them and close jar tightly. Store jar in a cool, dark place for 10 days before eating pickles.

Serve it with Falafel, Shawerma, Lebanese couscous (Mughrabia), hummus, and fava beans.

Tip — Stays fresh 5 months if refrigerated after opening.
