Clarified Butter

Use it for cooking.

Procedure

  1. Place butter in the saucepan over medium-high heat to boil for a couple of minutes. Turn off the heat and set aside to settle for several hours.
  2. Once the milk solids have settled to the bottom of the pan, slowly and carefully strain the clear butter into a clean glass jar. Discard the milk solids and store the jar in your cupboard.

Use it for cooking.

Tip — Stays fresh up to 6 months.
