Welcome to Safa's Kitchen. This site is a small home for the recipes I have been cooking my whole life — the Lebanese food I learned from my mother on a Beirut balcony, carried with me through every kitchen since.
I'll be adding stories alongside the recipes — the village in the mountains where I spent my summers, the markets I walked as a child, the friends who taught me a dish I had never made before. Cooking is never just food.
